Cambodian Crew

We traveld with some friends of ours. Tim, Pepper, and Jordan Archer. Not so surprisingly Andrea was always the first one to be hungry, be tired of walking, complain, etc... This was our transportation a tuk tuk, no more than a scooter hooked to a trailer. We did not travel fast! Posted by Picasa

Drinking coke.

Andrea is drinking a coke out of a bag. It seems they dont want you to carry glass bottles around. Andrea told the guy this was gross.... he spoke english. Posted by Picasa

Floating Village

This villiage is built from boats and other such things (that float)! There is a school, church, hospital, grocery store, etc.... This boy was asking for money and thoroughly disappointed when he only got pencils.Posted by Picasa

In the movies...

You have probably seen this in such movies as... The Schuitman's conquer southeast asia, or Tomb Raider. I cant remember which one.

Big doors to small doors..

Just about each temple was set up with entrances at each of the compass points. Here is a view from the center facing west. As you can see the doors get smaller as you exit. This is to force you to bow your head (walk humbly). Of course Jeremy had to duck alot through all the little doorways. He is so tall!

Overgrown!

They have left some of the temples overgrown. It was like we were disovering them for the first time. You can really walk and do whatever you want to do. The only way we realized that we werent the first visitors was all the locals trying to sell us everything. It got very intense.

Andrea was sooo excited at getting in the Tuk Tuk at 5 am to see the sunrise... she says they all look the same! But, it is epic with Angkor Wat. You guys all need to make you travel plans to come and visit. You will not be disapointed.
