Here's Andrea and her mom with Toby. We ate at a great Japanese Restaurant. We were so happy to see Andrea's mom and spend two weeks with her in Shanghai, Beijing, and Xian.

Tarracotta Warriors

Sunday, February 12, 2006

This is how the Terracotta Warriors were found. This building was built over the Warriors for protection. In the 70's two farmers were digging for oil and found this.

Beijing is getting ready for the 2008 Olympics.

We even got to feed some bears while visiting the Great Wall.

The Great Wall goes on for miles through the mountains.

We are on the Great Wall. It is so amazing to see. Word of advice, don't travel to Beijing in February, but definitely something to see.

We are in side the Forbidden City and yes it was very cold in Beijing. Felt like Michigan weather.

This is what it looks like trying to get into the Forbidden City. Most of China is this way, many people and no organization.

The is the Forbidden City at night.

We are on our way to the Shanghai airport riding the fastest train in Asia, and I think in the world. It gets up to 431 km/h as you can see in the pic.
